About Us

Giving communities the opportunity to serve others through pajamas.

Our Founder

Jasmine Gray

Jasmine is a native of Memphis, TN. She attended Germantown High School where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006. That same year, Jasmine founded Jaz’s Jammies originally as a Girl Scout Gold Award project and has collected over 5,000 pairs of new pajamas for children to date.

In 2010, she earned her B.S. in journalism from the College of Mass Communication at MTSU where she was awarded both the Community Service Award and the President’s Award. That same year, she became a member of USA TODAY’S 21st Annual All-USA College Academic First Team. In 2011, she earned her M.A. in Television and Film from Syracuse University where she was a Turner Diversity Fellow and a Graduate School Master’s Prize recipient.

In 2012, she began filming her first feature length documentary, More Than Skin Deep, about survivors of a rare vascular birth defect called Arteriovenous Malformation for which she has had nearly 40 surgeries. Jasmine is passionate about empowering marginalized misrepresented groups of people. She is motivated to use her non-profit work, filmmaking, writing, speaking and other gifts to glorify God and uplift people’s lives.

Our Core Values

We partner with Communities

Now, in addition to serving several hospitals including Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Jaz’s Jammies also supplies pajamas for some of the over 1,000,000 children homeless on any given night; those children have gone ignored…until now!

We Pursue Excellence

With the help of people like you, Jaz’s Jammies Inc. has collected over 5,000 pairs of pajamas and impacts the lives of sick children throughout the Mid-South and the USA.

We Create Hope

Something as simple as a pair of pajamas can brighten a child’s day. That one brightened day can lead to a brightened week, and that brightened week can lead to a hopeful future.
